SHIATS, Allahabad Invites applications for Ph.D
Applications are invited by Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences (SHIATS), Allahabad for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered in various department/ subjects for the session 2016.
How to Apply for SHIATS, Allahabad:
• Candidates can apply online.
• Duly completed application form should be submitted to the office of Dean, Post Graduate Studies along with a Demand Draft of Rs.1200/- in favour of the “Registrar, Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Allahabad”.
Eligibility Criteria for SHIATS, Allahabad:
Candidates should have regular master degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or 6.00 CGPA/ OGPA) for general candidate and 50% marks (or 5.5 CGPA/ OGPA) for SC/ ST/ Physically handicapped candidates.
Selection Procedure for SHIATS, Allahabad:
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written test and interview conducted by the university.
Note: Candidates who had cleared UGC/ICAR/CSIR JRF test within two years from the date of advertisement need not to appear in written entrance test. However, they have to fill the entrance test application form and appear in interview with all the testimonials & certificates
Important Dates:
• Last date for submissions of application form: Friday, January 08, 2015.
• Admit cards for entrance test: Tuesday, January 12, 2016.
• Date of written test: Wednesday, January 20, 2016.
• Date of interview: Thursday, January 21, 2016.
