Course Duration And Structure
The complete ICFAI Distance MBA course duration is two years. It consists of 20 subjects which are divided into four modules and candidates are required to complete two modules in one year. Candidates can able to pick an elective in the third module from the below mentioned 16 electives. This complete program is based on self-study via specially designed university provided books. Candidates also required to undergo Project work / internship program.
After six months of enrollment date, students are eligible for exams of module 1 (including all the five subjects). Students need to complete each module every six months. In order to opt for the 2nd module, candidate should not have more than one backlog in the 1st module. The students can clear their backlog in the upcoming examination but the backlog subject cannot be carried for the next module.
Like, if a student has a backlog in any subject in Module 2, the subject cannot be carried forward in Module 3. However, in a module, student can appear for examination in any order of subjects.

Course Completion
The ICFAI Distance MBA program must be completed within the time span of four years from the date of enrolment. If a student is unable to complete, they should approach the University for the Extension of the valid time. This expires at 3 months validitity.
How To Study?
The ICFAI University will provide you required academic material but most of the study is self based with examination. Students will get all the material that has been designed for the program.
Eligibility Criteria
You are eligible to apply for Distance Learning MBA degree if you are a graduate in any discipline from an recognised University with 50% and above marks and with a managerial or supervisory position work experience of at least 2 years. Students have to submit the TOEFL/ IELTS/ NELT score if they are not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation (For Executive Distance MBA). Institute will shortlist the students based on their academic qualifications and work experience.
ICFAI Distance MBA Examination Details
Exams are held in April, July, January and October. Students will receive details like dates of examination or announcement of results on registered email or on university’s website. All the process is done online on the university’s examination portal.
